Over a decade ago, a small and genuine diner opened its doors to the public in Ashrafieh and took Lebanon by storm. Roadster diner first opened its chrome and glass doors to the public in Ashrafieh, in 1998. The idea was simple, as you might expect a great idea to be: create the swingingest, homiest, most authentic diner experience the city had ever seen.
And the city responded! Pretty soon the private dining booths were crowded and the pedestal stools were warm around the clock.
Thanks to the incredible customer response, Roadster diner went on to open several more outlets. In fact, all the growth we’ve done since we first set out –the Beirut Delivery Center in 1999, the Jal el Dib outlet in 2002, our hopping two-storey diner in the Downtown area, our genuine stand-alone diner on the Jounieh highway in 2004, the Hamra (with the second floor added in 2009) and City Mall diners in 2005, the outlets in ABC Dbayeh and LeMall Sin el Fil in 2009, and the opening of our Verdun branch and the Metn Delivery center in 2010- and the big surprise of 2011 is the opening at ABC Ashrafieh by the 4th quarter of the year. It would not have been possible without our faithful customers, who kept coming back for more and more.
Our unique character, guaranteed cleanliness, impeccable quality and the same great service in all our diners has been repaid a hundredfold by our customers’ loyalty. It is their discerning taste in both food and atmosphere that has put Roadster diner on the map, so to speak.

Joseph Chacra & Sons was formed in 1987 in Lebanon as the theatrical distributor for Warner Bros. Pictures in the Middle East & North Africa. Founder Joe Chacra has dedicated most of his life to Warner Brothers and is the last of the Chacra Family to have actually met the legendary Jack Warner. Setting the company up, came after 30 year old ties between Joseph Chacra and Warner Bros. Pictures studios. In 1995, the company extended its activities to Home Video distribution and in 1998, it became the distributor of New Line Cinema, releasing such films as the Rush Hour Series and The Lord of The Rings trilogy for the mini-major. The relationship with New Line lasted for more than 10 years before the latter was folded into Warner Bros. Today Joseph Chacra & Sons is a leader in motion picture distribution in the region. Mentos® is a global brand currently sold in more than 130 countries. Mentos® has become globally famous as the chewy candy packed in the typical roll. Over the years Mentos® has explored new territories and now is available in a huge variety of formats and flavors as candy and gum. Mentos is a brand of mints, of the "scotch mint" type, sold in many markets across the world by the Perfetti Van Melle corporation. Mentos was first produced in the Netherlands during 1948. The mints are small oblate spheroids, with a slightly hard exterior and a soft, chewy interior. They are sold in rolls which typically contain 14 mint discs, although the new "Sour Mix" flavor contains only 11 discs per roll. Certain flavors are sold in boxes in Australia, the United States, Brazil and the United Kingdom, and the rolls are available in four packs. The slogan of Mentos is "The Freshmaker". Most Mentos packages describe the mints as "chewy dragées." The typical Mentos roll is approximately 2 cm in diameter and weighs 38 grams.
