Gravitonas is a Stockholm-based music project, fronted by lead vocalist Andreas Öhrn and celebrated record producers and songwriters Alexander Bard and Henrik Wikström. Gravitonas was formed in early 2010 and immediately signed by Maria Molin-Ljunggren to her Universal Music-associated company Lionheart International, where the band is the first act launched on the brand new pop/rock label SoFo Records with the release of the Gravitonas debut single and video, the Top 5 club chart hit "Kites", on April 28, 2010.
A four-track EP called "The Hypnosis EP" was released in September 2010. The track "Religious" quickly became a massive airplay and a Top 10 club chart hit in Russia (with over 100,000 accumulated radio spins in early 2011). "Religious" then entered the Bilboard Magazine Club Play Chart in March, 2011 as an import-only release and peaked a few weeks later at #28. A third single "You Break Me Up" and a four-track EP called "The Coliseum EP" were also released in November 2010.
The global follow-up to the "Religious" smash will be a track called "Everybody Dance", released on May 25, performed as a duet with Russian electronica star Roma Kenga (famously co-produced in Stockholm and Moscow simultaneously using a Skype link). The "Everybody Dance" release will be followed by an EP of music made for books, games, and movies in August, 2011, right before the release of Gravitonas' debut album in September 2011.
