Nicole Saba

A multi-talented artist
 
Nicole Saba, whose real name is Nicole Chaba Elias, an artist of Armenian origin, was born in Beirut in June 26, 1974. She is both a singer and an actress and she is very famous in Lebanon. Her first official appearance took place in 1997 in the video "Ainy" shot with Hisham Abbas.
 
Between 1998 and 2001, Nicole was a member of the Lebanese pop band 4 Cats, with whom she recorded two albums: “Tick-Tick” in 1998 and “Layl Nhar” in 2000. In addition to his tremendous singing talent, Nicole Saba has also been a talk show host for the show Ramdan Argouk.
 
She then decided to start singing solo and simultaneously to start also her acting career. She recorded her first album that was released in 2004, produced by Alam El Phan. His first movie, El Al Tagroba Denemarkeya (the Danish experience) was released in 2003. She was chosen by the Egyptian actor Adel Imam to play the leading role. This movie was a great success, and reached the top at the box office.
 
She then had several requests to play in movies, and played and many successful ones. Nicole received the “Best Singer” award in 2004 by the magazine Sayidaty. Ever since then, she has recorded many popular songs such as Albak Mosh 3ala 7AD, Ana Ma B7ebbak, Bali Mashghol Bik, Fadel Thawani, Khallik Makanak, Kol La7zet 7UB, Law Fi El3omr Lila, We 7aleftak Belghali and Ya Shaghelni Bik.
 
She also sang protest songs that were highly acclaimed, especially Ana Tabee Keda, a song against homophobia. She performed as well in concerts like Al Saaid in Egypt, which was one of her most successful concerts. Nicole also performed in front of new students of the “Al Nahda” University. As a matter of fact, more than 20,000 people attended the concert, and some even tried to climb on stage causing a panic.
